For some reason this pub uses lots of very bright lights. Reduce the number of lights to create a better atmosphere or dim the bulbs

Excellent service - even though the oven wasn't working thus not being able to cook a lot of meals on the menue - the staff were great in helping us to put a substantial meal together. Most helpful and very much appreciated. Thank You
This is normally a great place to eat, but the last couple of meals there have seriously disappointed. I don't know if this has been down to staffing issues, or a sad drop in standards The staff are friendly, albeit a bit over stretched at busy times, and the wait can occasionally exceed acceptable levels.Parking is plentiful, with half decent disabled access.
